Amendment to HB 1330

 

Amend the bill by replacing section 2 with the following:

 

2  Board of Registration of Medical Technicians; Advisory Board Established.  RSA 328-I:2 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

328-I:2  Advisory Board of Registration of Medical Technicians.  The executive director shall establish an advisory board of registration of medical technicians consisting of 3 members.  Two members shall be licensed, registered, or certified health care providers with experience supervising medical technicians.  One shall be a medical technician required to be registered pursuant to this chapter.  Each member shall be appointed to a term of 3 years.  No member shall serve more than 2 consecutive full terms.  The advisory board shall advise the executive director regarding the implementation of this chapter.  In the event that a member of the advisory board is unable to serve for any reason, the executive director shall designate an alternate member who shall be qualified to serve on the advisory board in such member's place, and who shall, upon appointment, have the same authority as a regular member.
