AN ACT relative to requirements for recovery houses.

ANALYSIS

 

This bill modifies the requirements for facility bedroom square-footage in order for recovery houses to be exempted from certain requirements of the state fire code by the state fire marshal.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT relative to requirements for recovery houses.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  State Board of Fire Control; Exemption for Recovery Houses; Minimum Facility Requirements Modified.  Amend RSA 153:10-d, I(i) to read as follows:

(i)  The facility shall have a minimum of [200] 50 gross square feet per [resident] bed per sleeping room.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
