STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

AN ACT relative to salaries for employee positions approved by the joint committee on employee classification.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Compensation of Certain State Officers; Salaries Established; Positions Deleted.  Amend RSA 94:1-a, I(b) by deleting:

EE Department of health and human services adult protective services administrator

EE Insurance department assistant commissioner

FF Glencliff home administrator

FF Department of health and human services director, contracts unit

FF Insurance department general counsel

FF Department of health and human services director of emergency management

HH Department of health and human services director of information services

2  Compensation of Certain State Officers; Salaries Established; Positions Added.  Amend RSA 94:1-a, I(b) by inserting:

DD Department of business and economic affairs director of intergovernmental affairs

EE Department of health and human services manager, contracts quality and management

FF Department of health and human services adult protective services administrator

GG Department of corrections adult parole board chairman

GG Department of health and human services director of contracts and procurement

GG Department of administrative services deputy director, division of

financial data management

GG Department of administrative services deputy director, division of public works

design and construction

GG Department of administrative services superintendent of buildings and

grounds, division of plant and property

4  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.

METHODOLOGY:

This bill revises salaries for certain state employees.  The bill is a request of the joint committee

on employee classification (JCEC).  The bill will amend RSA 94:1-a to update it with the position classifications approved by the JCEC.  To the extent the position classifications approved by the JCEC results in higher salaries, there will be an increase in state expenditures in the current and future operating budgets.  Any increased expenditures in the current biennium will be funded by funds available due to positions eliminated, vacancies within the agency or with funds from the salary adjustment fund.  Any increased expenditures in future biennia will be included in the agency operating budget requests.
