Floor Amendment to HB 2-FN-A-LOCAL
Amend the bill by replacing section 43 with the following:
43 Appropriation; Affordable Housing Fund. The sum of $25,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 is hereby appropriated to the housing finance authority for deposit in the affordable housing fund established by RSA 204-C:57, the purpose of providing financing or state matching funds for affordable housing. The appropriation shall be in addition to any other funds appropriated to the housing finance authority and shall be nonlapsing. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
Amend the bill by replacing section 466 with the following:
466 Appropriations; Housing Champion Designation and Grant Program Fund.
I. The sum of $5,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, which shall not lapse until June 30, 2025, is hereby appropriated to the New Hampshire housing champion designation and grant program fund. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
II. The sum of $250,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, which shall not lapse until June 30, 2025, is hereby appropriated to the department of business and economic affairs for the purpose of administering the housing champion program. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
