Floor Amendment to HB 504-FN
Amend the bill by replacing all after section 1 with the following:
2 Appropriation. The sum of $1,500 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 and the sum of $1,500 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, is hereby appropriated to the adult parole board to pay previous board members' daily compensation and sitting board members' stipends required under this act. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023.

AMENDED ANALYSIS
This bill allows the appointment of a previous adult parole board member to sit on the board and makes an appropriation for board members' daily compensation and stipends.
