STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Department of Environmental Services; Appropriation. There is hereby appropriated to the department of environmental services the sum of $15,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 and $15,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, which shall be nonlapsing, for the purpose of making efficiency payments to communities for projects that have previously been awarded state aid grant funding for eligible and completed wastewater infrastructure projects per RSA 486 as approved by the governor and executive council. Any remaining funds not used for making efficiency payments on existing grants may be used to award new grants. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
