Committee of Conference Report on SB 70-FN, relative to the establishment of an election information portal.
Recommendation:
That the Senate recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the House amendment, and concur with the House amendment, and
That the Senate and House adopt the following new amendment to the bill as amended by the House, and pass the bill as so amended:
Amend the bill by replacing all after section 2 with the following:
3 Secretary of State; Authorization. The secretary of state is authorized to accept and expend any available federal funds for the purposes of funding special projects supporting voting technology in cities and towns.
4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
