This bill repeals the prohibition against directing at another person in a public place obscene, derisive, or offensive words which are likely to provoke a violent reaction on the part of an ordinary person.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to disorderly conduct.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. RSA 644:2, II(b), relative to directing at another person in a public place obscene, derisive, or offensive words which are likely to provoke a violent reaction, is repealed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2025.
