STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to the advertising of nominal dimensions of lumber.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Truth in Advertising; Nominal Dimensions of Lumber. Amend RSA 417:4 by inserting after paragraph XIII the following new paragraph:
XIV. Nominal Dimensions of Lumber. All lumber, logs, timber or other wood products shall advertise their true dimensions and not a nominal size.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2025.
