1 Office of Professional Licensure and Certification; License Renewals; Lapse. Amend RSA 310:8, II to read as follows:

II. Licenses shall be valid for 2 years from the date of issuance except for those apprentices licensed for one year in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to 541-A, provided that timely and complete application for license renewal by eligible applicants shall continue the validity of the licenses being renewed until the office has acted on the renewal application.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

Licenses shall be valid for 2 years from the date of issuance except for those apprentices licensed for one year in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to 541-A, provided that timely and complete application for license renewal by eligible applicants shall continue the validity of the licenses being renewed until the office has acted on the renewal application. Each biennium, the office shall audit compliance by licensees of continuing education requirements established by each board pursuant toRSA 541-A; provided, however, that all boards that regulate health professionals shall require licensees to complete at least 2 hours of continuing education in human trafficking each renewal cycle.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
