STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to creating certain wetlands permit exemptions after a natural disaster or flooding event.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Subparagraph; Excavating and Dredging Permit; Certain Exemptions.  Amend RSA 482-A:3, IV by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:

(d) Removal of woody debris and blockages from the channels of watercourses, or from culverts or bridges by the owners of said structure, by the property owner, is allowed without a permit provided sediment disturbance is minimized and the work results in no new permanent impacts to the bed of the watercourse.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
