317-A:24 Applicants From Other States .

The board may license any applicant for a dental or dental hygienist license who is so licensed in any other state, provided the other state's licensing requirements are substantially equivalent to or higher than those of this state.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

I. The board may license any applicant for a dental or dental hygienist license who is so licensed in any other state, provided the other state's licensing requirements are substantially equivalent to or higher than those of this state.

II. The board may grant a limited license for an applicant licensed in another country to serve as a limited license dental intern in a hospital or other institution maintained by the state, a county, or municipality, or hospital or dental infirmary incorporated under the laws of the state, provided that the applicant is of good moral character, has met all eligibility requirements and has submitted to the board all information required in rules adopted by the board.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
