131:1 Supervision of Navigation; Enforcement; Emergencies. Amend RSA 270:12-a, VI(c) to read as follows:
(c) The commissioner of the department of safety may establish a safety and security zone on any public or coastal waters of the state in case of an emergency requiring prompt action.
131:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

(c) The commissioner of the department of safety may establish a safety and security zone , including the establishment of a no wake zone for a period not to exceed 10 days due to weather or environmental conditions, on any public or coastal waters of the state in case of an emergency requiring prompt action.
