Amendment to HB 1363-FN
Amend the bill by replacing all after the enacting clause with the following:
1 New Section; Member of the General Court; Participation in Employee Assistance Program. Amend RSA 14-A by inserting after section 6 the following new section:
14-A:7 Participation in Employee Assistance Program. Current members of the general court and household members shall be permitted to participate in the New Hampshire employee assistance program operated by the department of health and human services. Any cost for the participation shall be determined by the department of health and human services and paid from funds of the legislative branch. Nothing in this section shall be construed that members of the general court are employees or otherwise deemed anything but members of the legislative branch.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2027.
