1 Electric Utilities; Definition of Stranded Costs; Net Metering Costs Added. Amend RSA 374-F:2, IV(d) and (e) to read as follows:

(d) Costs approved for recovery by the commission in connection with the divestiture or retirement of Public Service Company of New Hampshire generation assets pursuant to RSA 369-B:3-a; and

(e) All costs incurred as a result of fulfilling employee protection obligations pursuant to RSA 369-B:3-b

2 New Paragraph; Net Energy Metering Costs; Stranded Cost Recovery Mechanism. Amend RSA 362-A:9 by inserting after paragraph VII the following new paragraph:

VII-a. Distribution utilities shall use a stranded cost recovery mechanism as approved by the commission to recover costs associated with net energy metering.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
