Amendment to HB 1419-FN
Amend RSA 189:75, II as inserted by section 2 of the bill by replacing it with the following:
II. For purposes of this subdivision, material is harmful to minors when:
(a) Taken as a whole, it predominantly appeals to the prurient, shameful, or morbid interest of minors;
(b) The material depicts or describes nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or sadomasochistic abuse in a manner that is patently offensive to prevailing standards in the adult community with respect to what is suitable for minors; and
(c) The material lacks serious literary, scientific, medical, artistic, or political value for minors.
