This bill requires the department of education to remove student individualized education plan records from the state special education information system on the same schedule as school districts.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to the retention of individualized education program records.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

268:1  New Paragraph; Retention of Individualized Education Programs.  Amend RSA 186-C:10-a by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. The department of education shall remove all student records from the state special education information system on the same schedule as school districts.

268:2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
