STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to rebates of energy efficiency funds for electric vehicles.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative; Energy Efficiency Fund and Use of Auction Proceeds. Amend RSA 125-O:23, II to read as follows:
II. [All] From amounts received in excess of the threshold price of $1 for any allowance sale, $3,000,000 shall be transferred to the department of energy for use as provided in paragraph II-a, and all other such amounts received shall be rebated to all retail electric ratepayers in the state on a per-kilowatt-hour basis, in a timely manner to be determined by the commission.
II-a. The department of energy shall develop and implement a so-called "cash on the hood" program for point-of-sale electric vehicle rebates to buyers. The program shall initially be a 2-year pilot program.
