Amendment to HB 1525
Amend the bill by replacing section 1 with the following:
1 Pari-Mutuel Pools on Historic Horse Races; Licensed Facilities; Eligible in 2024. RSA 284:22-b, II is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
II. A game operator employer licensed under RSA 287-D licensed after July 1, 2024 may sell pari-mutuel pools on historic horse races provided the licensee's application was received by the lottery commission prior to October 18, 2023 and was deemed eligible for a game operator employer license by the commission, and provided such sales are within the enclosure of the facility at which the licensee holds its licensed activities under RSA 287-D. A licensee seeking to offer wagers on historic horse races shall apply for a license pursuant to RSA 284. An application that is approved by the lottery commission, and a license that is granted shall not be permitted to be transferred or sold. A game operator employer whose application was received by the commission prior to October 18, 2023 and was deemed eligible for a game operator employer license by the commission shall be eligible for licensure to sell pari-mutuel pools on historic horse races in the municipality where the licensee held said license.
