STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Child Protection Act; Reporting Law; Training Required. Amend RSA 169-C by inserting after section 30 the following new section:
169-C:30-a Training Required.
All entities employing licensed physicians, advance practice nurses, or physician assistants, or that provide clinical experience for students in these fields, shall provide for those in these categories caring for any person under 18 years of age, a minimum of 2 hours of training, either online or in person, concerning the recognition of child abuse and neglect and reporting mandates. Such training shall be completed within 30 days of employment and renewed every 4 years. Employees who have received such training elsewhere within the preceding 4 years may opt out of initial training.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
