Committee of Conference Report on SB 266, relative to the statewide education improvement and assessment program.

 

Recommendation:

That the Senate recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the House amendment, and concur with the House amendment, and

That the Senate and House adopt the following new amendment to the bill as amended by the House, and pass the bill as so amended:

 

Amend RSA 193-C:12, V as inserted by section 5 of the bill by replacing it with the following:

 

V.  Student data shall not be disclosed by the testing entity, unless requested by the student or parent, to any person, organization, entity, or government or any component thereof, other than the parent or guardian, the department, or the school or school district, and shall not be used by the testing entity for any other purpose except as defined in the contract between the department and testing entity.
