STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to plumbing apprenticeships.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Mechanical Licensing; Plumbers; Definitions; Apprentices. Amend RSA 153:27, XV to read as follows:
XV. "Plumbing apprentice" means any person who is engaged in learning and assisting in the installation of plumbing and drainage under an apprenticeship program that meets the requirements of the state apprenticeship advisory council established in RSA 278 or the rules of the board, except that the maximum number of apprentices that a plumbing licensee is permitted to employ shall not be fewer than 2 per licensee.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
