Committee of Conference Report on SB 379-FN, relative to emergency action plans for sports related injuries.
Recommendation:
That the Senate recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the House amendment, and concur with the House amendment, and
That the Senate and House adopt the following new amendment to the bill as amended by the House, and pass the bill as so amended:
Amend RSA 200:40-c, I as inserted by section 1 of the bill by inserting after subparagraph (g) the following new subparagraph:
(h) Require that for grades 6-12 an individual trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation supervise organized school sponsored sports activities.
Amend the bill by replacing section 2 with the following:
I. RSA 200:40-c, I(h) as inserted by section 1 of this act shall take effect August 1, 2025.
II. The remainder of this act shall take effect August 1, 2024.

This bill establishes requirements for the placement and maintenance of automated external defibrillators (AED) and requires an individual trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation to supervise school sponsored sports activities for grades 6-12.
