STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to a state parks pass pilot program for recovery centers and community health centers.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Fees for State Park System; Pilot Program; Recovery Centers and Community Health Centers.  Amend RSA 216-A:3-g by inserting after paragraph VIII the following new paragraph:

IX.  The commissioner of the department of natural and cultural resources shall establish in its fee package a 3-year pilot program for recovery centers and community health centers registered with the department of health and human services to provide one or more passes to state parks for each participating center. The commissioner shall consult with the department of health and human resources to determine eligible participants, evaluation, and review of program usage.  Each participating center shall report annually in an anonymized data report on the usage and impact of the pilot program, as well as any recommendations for changes.  The program shall be funded through state and federal grants, based on available funds, and donations.

2 Prospective Repeal; 2027.  RSA 216-A:3-g, IX, relative to the pilot program for recovery centers and community health centers, is repealed.

3  Effective Date.

I.  Section 2 of this act shall take effect July 1, 2027.

II.  The remainder of this act shall take effect July 1, 2024.
