AN ACT relative to the public posting of board of education agenda items and meeting materials.

This bill requires the board of education to post agenda items and meeting materials on its website at least 48 hours before each noticed meeting.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to the public posting of board of education agenda items and meeting materials.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; State Board of Education.  Amend RSA 21-N:10 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI.  The board shall post publicly on its Internet website the agenda items and any relevant meeting materials associated with those items no less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of any noticed meeting.  Any relevant meeting materials posted shall comply with the provisions of RSA 91-A and state or federal privacy laws.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
