STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to allowing toll-free use for vehicles registered with municipal plates.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Subparagraph; Exemption From Tolls.  Amend RSA 237, I by inserting after subparagraph (d) the following new subparagraph:

(e)  Motor vehicles bearing plates registered to a New Hampshire municipality.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

AN ACT relative to allowing toll-free use for vehicles registered with municipal plates.

METHODOLOGY:

The Department of Transportation states this bill, as introduced, will have no fiscal impact, as it simply aligns statute with an existing agreement between the Department and municipalities to not collect tolls from municipal vehicles.
