METHODOLOGY:
This bill changes the requirements for the granting of the educational credential of master teacher. The Department of Education states any potential impact on state restricted revenue (credentialing fund) is indeterminable as it is unknown how many educators would qualify, and apply, for the credential, as modified by this bill. Currently, there is a fee for master teacher of $800 for a three-year license, which is unchanged by this bill.
