Committee of Conference Report on SB 574, relative to the appointment of a temporary agent for a minor child or incapacitated person.

 

Recommendation:

That the Senate recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the House amendment, and

That the House recede from its position in adopting its amendment to the bill, and

That the Senate and House each pass the bill as amended by the Senate.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

 

This bill allows for parents or guardians to appoint temporary agents for periods not to exceed 60 days and to delegate parental rights to those agents, subject to certain exceptions and limitations.
