1 Dentists and Dentistry; Practice of Dental Hygiene. Amend RSA 317-A:21-c, II(e) to read as follows:
(e) The administration of local anesthesia .
2 Occupations and Professions; Dentists and Dentistry; Examinations and Licenses; Applications. Amend RSA 317-A:8, I to read as follows:
I. Applications for licensure shall be made to the office of professional licensure and certification in writing or online and shall be accompanied by a fee established in rules adopted under RSA 541-A by the office and by satisfactory proof that the applicant is a graduate of a school that is recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) . The applicant shall be of good professional character and 18 years of age or older.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

I. Applications for licensure shall be made to the office of professional licensure and certification in writing or online and shall be accompanied by a fee established in rules adopted under RSA 541-A by the office and by satisfactory proof that the applicant is a graduate of a school that is recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and holds the degree of D.D.S. or D.M.D . The applicant shall be of good professional character and 18 years of age or older.
