Floor Amendment to HB 2-FN-A-LOCAL
Amend the bill by deleting section 19, relative to education freedom accounts.
Amend the bill by inserting after section 463 the following and renumbering the original section 464 to read as 465:
464 Appropriation; University System of New Hampshire.
There is hereby appropriated to the university system of New Hampshire the sums of $6,500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and $25,500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

Delete:
19. Defines "eligible student" for the purposes of enrollment in the education freedom account program.
Add:
190. Makes appropriations to the community college system of New Hampshire and the university system of New Hampshire.
