Floor Amendment to HB 282-FN

 

Amend RSA 100-A:6,-a (b) as inserted by section 34 of the bill by replacing it with the following:

 

(b)  Notwithstanding subparagraph (a), for group II members who commenced service prior to July 1, 2011, and have not attained vested status prior to January 1, 2012, a member's maximum retirement benefit granted under the provisions of RSA 100-A:5 or RSA 100-A:6 shall not exceed the lesser of 100 percent of the member's average final compensation or $145,000.
