Floor Amendment to HB 324-FN
Amend RSA 189:81, II as inserted by section 2 of the bill by replacing it with the following:
II. Any petitioner, if successful, shall be awarded special or general damages of not less than $1,000 for each violation, and costs and reasonable legal fees. Such damages, costs, and fees shall be in addition to equitable relief awarded. If the court determines that the action was brought in bad faith or with the purpose to harass or unduly burden school officials or administration, it may award costs and reasonable attorneys' fees to the defendant.
