STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five
AN ACT relative to reporting regarding the northern border alliance program.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Northern Border Alliance Program; Reporting Requirements. Amend RSA 21-P:69, IV to read as follows:
IV. The program shall include semi-annual reporting, to the governor, senate president, and speaker of the house of representatives, which includes measurable program results and a detailed accounting of program funding and uses. Any grants provided to state, county, or local law enforcement agencies in accordance with the intentions of the program shall be reported, including who received such grants, when, and what the funds were used for. The number of personnel involved in the program as well as their rank and/title shall be included in the report. Any equipment or technology used and purchased through the program shall also be included. The report shall also include the number of persons arrested, persons cited, and persons subjected to a field stop or warning. The report shall also include the date, time, and location of Customs and Border Protection-related incidents, assists, intelligence received, or other activity. For persons in each of these categories, the aggregate data shall also include the municipality and country where each such person resides. For persons who are arrested or cited, the report shall also include the race of such persons to the extent such information is indicated on the complaint, summons, or citation. The first report shall be submitted on or before December 31, 2023.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
