STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five

 

AN ACT prohibiting public schools from performing diagnostic tests or surgical procedures, or prescribing pharmaceutical drugs.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  School Health Services; Prohibitions.  Amend RSA 200:27 to read as follows:

200:27 School Health Services.

I. The local board in each school district may provide school health services to include school nurse services and school physician services to every child of school age in the district, as hereinafter provided.

II.  Nothing in this section shall allow any school nurse or school physician to perform diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, or prescribe pharmaceutical drugs.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
