1 Emergency Medical and Trauma Services; Rulemaking; Emergency Medical Care Provider Requirements. Amend RSA 153-A:20, III to read as follows:
III. Necessary equipment and staffing for emergency medical service vehicles, including standards of suitability for such vehicles used in the transportation of patients in relation to health, sanitation, safety, communications, maintenance, on-board medical equipment, safety equipment, extrication equipment, markings, garaging conditions, and care and condition of the emergency medical service vehicle and its equipment .
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

Necessary equipment and staffing for emergency medical service vehicles, including standards of suitability for such vehicles used in the transportation of patients in relation to health, sanitation, safety, communications, maintenance, on-board medical equipment, safety equipment, extrication equipment, markings, garaging conditions, and care and condition of the emergency medical service vehicle and its equipment ; provided that not more than one emergency medical care provider shall be required to attend to a patient during transport by an emergency medical service vehicle .
