AN ACT allowing patrons to take purchased alcoholic beverages into the restroom of a restaurant.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five

 

AN ACT allowing patrons to take purchased alcoholic beverages into the restroom of a restaurant.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in Restrooms Permissible.  Amend RSA 179:27, II to read as follows:

II. No beverages or liquor shall be served or consumed in foyers, hallways, kitchens, [restrooms,] or other areas not approved for service by the commission. Patrons may take a beverage that they have purchased from the establishment into the restroom of that establishment.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
