Amendment to SB 180-FN

 

Amend RSA 162-U as inserted by section 1 of the bill by deleting RSA 162-U:3.

 

Amend the bill by replacing all after section 2 with the following:

 

3  Repeal.  RSA 162-U, relative to the designation of Coos County as a distressed place-based economy, is repealed.

4  Effective Date.

I.  Section 3 of this act shall take effect July 1, 2045.

II.  The remainder of this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

 

This bill designates Coos County as a distressed place-based economy and encourages state agencies to consider input from Coos County government for decisions affecting its place-based economy.  The designation is prospectively repealed in 2045.
