STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five
AN ACT declaring the third week in September to be New Hampshire service dog week.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Service Dog Week. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-dd the following new section:
4:13-ee Service Dog Week. In recognition of the profound impact that service dogs have on the lives of individuals with disabilities enhancing their independence, mobility, and overall quality of life, and inviting the governments, communities, and people of this state to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities, the governor shall proclaim the third week of September of each year as service dog week to honor the incredible contributions of service dogs, honor the dedicated individuals who train and care for these remarkable animals, and to celebrate the profound bond between service dogs and the individuals they serve.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
