Floor Amendment to SB 275
Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:
AN ACT extending grant eligibility for school construction to preschools.
Amend the bill by deleting section 1 and renumbering the original sections 2-4 to read as 1-3, respectively.
Amend RSA 72:23, VII as inserted by section 1 of the bill by replacing it with the following:
VII. For the purposes of this section, the term "charitable" shall [have]:
(a) Have the meaning set forth in RSA 72:23-l;
(b) Be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit; and
(c) Be a registered charitable organization in good standing with this state.

This bill extends grant eligibility for school construction to preschools.
