1 New Paragraph; Campaign Donation; Disclosure of Names. Amend RSA 664:6 by inserting after paragraph VIII the following new paragraph:
IX. Any person or entity that makes an independent expenditure exceeding $500,000 in support of or in opposition to a candidate for governor, or exceeding $50,000 in aggregate in support of or in opposition to one or more candidates for executive council, state senate, or state representative, shall file with the secretary of state an itemized statement disclosing the name and address of each original source of the funds used for the expenditure. For the purpose of this paragraph, "original source" means the person or business organization that contributed to the person or entity making the donation.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
