STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT repealing the certification requirement to perform residential mold assessments.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Repeal.  RSA 310-A:189-b, relative to mold assessment certifications, is repealed.

2  Directive; Report Required; Office of Professional Licensure and Certification.  The office of professional licensure and certification (OPLC) shall repeal any administrative rules adopted pursuant to RSA 310-A:189-b, and shall inform the general court in a report to the speaker of the house of representatives and the senate president by January 1, 2027 if the OPLC believes any further statutory changes are necessary to accomplish the goals of this act.

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
