STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT designating the funds account for donations and bequests received by the department of military affairs and veterans services to be non-lapsing funds.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services.  Amend RSA 110-B:1, III to read as follows:

III. The department may receive, on behalf of the state, all donations and bequests made to promote the welfare of military service members, veterans, and their families. These funds shall be nonlapsing and continually appropriated to the department.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
