Explanation to Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 1260-FN
This enrolled bill amendment makes grammatical and technical corrections to the bill.
Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 1260-FN
Amend RSA 5-C:41, IV as inserted by section 2 of the bill by replacing lines 5-7 with the following:
known; the [groom's] marriage applicants' mailing [address] addresses and phone [number]numbers;[ the bride's mailing address and phone number;] the [groom's] marriage applicants' [signature] signatures and date signed; [the bride's signature and date signed;] and
Amend RSA 5-C:41, VII as inserted by section 2 of the bill by replacing line 1 with the following:
VII. Upon request of [the groom] either marriage applicant, the name of a legal guardian
Amend RSA 5-C:42, XIV as inserted by section 4 of the bill by replacing line 2 with the following:
applicant, or the earlier of 2 dates if applicable, shall be used by the clerk of the town or city to
Amend section 7 of the bill by replacing line 2 with the following:
RSA 5-C:52 to read as follows:
5-C:52 Delayed Certificate of Marriage.
Amend RSA 5-C:102, XI as inserted by section 12 of the bill by replacing line 11 with the following:
applicants' names and place of residence; and the date of the marriage ceremony.
