Committee of Conference Report on HB 1275, relative to the effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances on agriculture.  

 

Recommendation:

That the House recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the Senate amendment, and concur with the Senate amendment, and

That the Senate and House adopt the following new amendment to the bill as amended by the Senate, and pass the bill as so amended:

 

Amend RSA 485-H:2, III as inserted by section 4 of the bill by replacing it with the following:  

 

III.  "Drinking water standard" means the (PFAS) maximum contaminant levels established pursuant to RSA 485:16-e or the PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulations in accordance with 42 U.S.C. section 300g-1 if adopted by the commissioner for use in this chapter. The standards established under RSA 485:16-e shall remain the operative drinking water standard for all other purposes.
