STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six
AN ACT enabling the town of Derry to absorb the Derry cooperative school district.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Town of Derry; Absorption of Derry Cooperative School District. The town of Derry may absorb the Derry cooperative school district in one of the following ways:
I. Using the method in RSA 663, 5 percent of the voters may petition to place the absorption on the state general election ballot.
II. Using the method in RSA 39:3, voters may submit a petition to place the absorption as an article on the warrant.
III. Using the method in RSA 662-A:3, the town council may place the measure on the town ballot.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
