STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT relative to the manner of posting the warrant for a special town meeting.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Time for Holding Town Meetings and Warning Thereof; Special Meetings.  Amend RSA 39:4 to read as follows:

39:4 Special Meetings. The selectmen when calling a special town meeting shall, within one week after posting the warrant therefor, cause copy of said warrant to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in said town or posted on the town's website.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
