Amendment to HB 1468

 

Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:  

 

AN ACT relative to a flood resilience section in municipal master plans.  

 

Amend the bill by replacing all after the enacting clause with the following:  

 

1  New Subparagraph; Master Plan; Flood Resilience Section.  Amend RSA 674:2, III by inserting after subparagraph p the following new subparagraph:  

(q)  A flood resilience section which identifies existing and potential flood risks affecting the municipality, including but not limited to riverine flooding, stormwater runoff, culverts, drainage systems, erosion-prone areas, and areas subject to repeated flood damage, and which establishes goals and recommendations for reducing flood-related risks to public safety, property, municipal infrastructure, evacuation routes, and emergency access.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
