AN ACT requiring all agendas, minutes, and reports of study committees and statutory commissions be made available to the public on the general court website and specific state agency websites.

This bill requires all agendas, minutes, and reports of study committees and statutory commissions to be posted to the general court website and appropriate state department website within 5 days of a meeting.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT requiring all agendas, minutes, and reports of study committees and statutory commissions be made available to the public on the general court website and specific state agency websites.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Right-to-Know; Legislative Committee and Statutory Commission Meetings.  Amend RSA 91-A:4 by inserting after paragraph IX the following new paragraph:  

X.  All agendas, minutes, and reports of legislative study committees and statutory commission meetings shall be posted on an appropriate state department's website, as well as the general court's website, within 5 days of the meeting.  The clerks of the house of representatives and senate shall post such information on the general court's website.  Nothing in this paragraph shall interfere with or invalidate the provisions of RSA 91-A:3 and RSA 91-A:5.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
