Amendment to HB 1511
Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:
AN ACT relative to the membership of the agriculture in the classroom committee and relative to the annual proclamation of "New Hampshire Day at the Big E."
Amend the bill by replacing all after section 2 with the following:
3 New Section; New Hampshire Day at The Big E. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-ee the following new section:
4:13-ff New Hampshire Day at the Big E. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation observing the third Friday after Labor Day as “New Hampshire Day at The Big E" in recognition of the more than a century of support the Eastern States Exposition, Home of The Big E, has given to promoting agriculture and cooperation in the New England states.
4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

AMENDED ANALYSIS
This bill removes a representative of the Granite State Dairy Promotion from the agriculture in the classroom committee.
This bill also proclaims the third Friday after labor day as "New Hampshire Day at the Big E".
