Amendment to HB 1607-FN
Amend RSA 485:C-8-a, I as inserted by section 1 of the bill by replacing it with the following:
I. Sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, or salt-treated abrasives or other chemicals used on road parking lots and sidewalks for snow and ice management shall not be stored in such a manner or place as to subject groundwater or surface water to the risk of contamination. Compliance with this section by municipal and county entities shall be contingent on available funding from grants, gifts, and municipal revenues.
